Kyle Fowler Grabs Ninth-Straight GAS Top 10
Transmission Troubles Keep 14-Year-Old From Possible Win
Kyle Fowler headed back to Peachstate Speedway with some momentum on his side.  After grabbing his first-career pole at Lanier just a couple of weeks ago and then finishing third, Fowler had high hopes for Peachstate.
However, Fowler had an up and down night at Peachstate on Saturday.  He never really fell out of the top 10 and ran as high as fourth, but transmission trouble crippled the team on the restarts, coming home eighth.

“We started seventh and I passed a few cars in the first five laps and I thought I was on my way to the front,” said Fowler, who grabbed his ninth-straight top-10 finish.  “Then we started having a bunch of caution flags and on every restart, we had trouble getting back up to speed. The car was good under green; I could go any where I wanted except the very bottom.  I think we got a pretty good feel for Peachstate.  We just have to figure out what’s wrong with our transmission.”

Fowler will return to the track on September 1 for the next Georgia Asphalt Series race at Watermelon Capital Speedway.
