Fowler Takes Another Top-10 In Impressive Rookie Season
14-Year-Old Takes One Step Closer to GAS Rookie Title
It's not every day in every series when a young driver can have the kind of sudden impact the way that Kyle Fowler has had so far in the Georgia Asphalt Series in 2007.  In his first-ever season behind the wheel of a Late Model, Fowler can wrap up the GAS Rookie of the Year title in the series' final event thanks to his 13th top-10 finish in 15 starts this season on Saturday night at Peachstate Speedway in Jefferson, GA, a fourth-place result.
"We were trying to save some of our tires until the end and the pace of the race was just too fast," said Fowler of his strategy for another strong finish.  "Everybody was using there stuff early and after every restart. We tried some different lines and this was the best my car has handled at this track and I think we’ll be good when we come back for the World Crown."

Before Fowler can focus on the World Crown 300 event at Peachstate Speedway, November 9th through 11th, he will look to wrap up the GAS Rookie of the Year title and perhaps even score his first series victory in the final GAS event of the season, October 13th at the New Senoia Raceway in Senoia, GA.
