Kyle Fowler Recovers From Early Wreck to Post a 13th Place Finish
Battery Issues Cost Smyrna, Georgia Driver top 10 Finish
A lot can happen in a 250-lap race.  Kyle Fowler will agree with that after his second-career USARacing Pro Cup event at Lanier National Speedway (GA).  The goal was to stay out of trouble, but it found him on the first lap of the race as he got tangled up in a multi-car wreck.  After overcoming the wreck, he moved into the top 10 before a battery issue ended his night early.  Fowler wound up 13th.
“The car was great,” said Fowler with a smile after the race.  “If we didn’t have that problem earlier we would have been in position for a top five or even possibly a win.  I have to thank all the pit crew guys here for helping us out.”

Fowler looked on the bright side of his experience in his last two Pro Cup events.  He was just happy to finish considering what happened at Myrtle Beach.

“I mean up in Myrtle Beach it was just a complete and total bummer,” added Fowler.  “I didn’t even make but 40 laps, at least this time I was able to make it to the finish the car isn’t is in good shape.”

Fowler is unsure of what his next race will be, but with minimal damage from this event, he could be at the next event.  The next race for Pro Cup will be at Motor Mile Speedway (VA) on July 18th.
